We are Sue and Laura Cowling, mother and daughter, we have lived
in France since 2005. Sue is a retired teacher and Laura a stonemason, Sue now runs the B&B and does some language teaching
and Laura runs her own carving workshop in the grounds of the house.
Laura has completely restored the rammed earth and stone farmhouse using traditional
materials and techniques; earth, stone and lime mortars, renders and plasters.
We have two much loved dogs, Bramble who is a springer spaniel and Rusty who
is a labrador. Both are rescue dogs who are now enjoying the freedom of the large garden and the unspoilt Normandie countryside.
